Hello world. I'm here.

I am 8 pounds 2 ounces and 22.75 inch long.

Last pictures before he's out on his own.

To get a better idea of his size we asked for another ultrasound. The results are that he is currently 7 lbs. 5 oz. and his head circumfrence is 34 cm. Babies are expected to gain about a half pound a week and we have about 2.5 weeks until the due date. So, he should be around 8.5-9 lbs. Won't be long now.

Down to a month!!

Hello, we are with the last month now. All is going well. Thank you for all of the gifts at the showers. It will all come in very handy.

Next Appointment

Well our last appointment went well. No pictures, but heart rate and measurements were fine. Had the good ole diabetes test. Since it is no news is good news and we haven't heard anything, I guess that means all is well. Appointments are every two weeks now.

First Football Game

Third Appointment

This is our third appointment and we received a much better group of pictures of the baby. The first picture taken, clearly showed he is a boy. The tech had some trouble with the remaining pictures because he was moving so much, but she was able to get some good ones. Next appointment in one month...

This is my second favorite picture. Going from right to left you can see his legs spread eagle, his belly is the black part (the umbilical cord is the white on top), his arms, and part of his head at the far left.

Second Appointment

Well two weeks have gone by and it is time for our second appointment. The good thing is that we get another picture. The part that's better is the clot has absorbed and is no further concern. Next appointment in two months...

First Appointment

This is our first appointment and the first picture of the baby. It was found that Patty had a blood clot, which as we found out is pretty common, about one in four. Due to this clot, the doctor wanted us to come back sooner than normal to check to see if further steps needed to be done. Next appointment in two weeks...
